Rod Corpuz is a dedicated healthcare professional who has been a registered nurse since 2012. A graduate of Edith Cowan University, Rod’s career has spanned a wide range of clinical environments, including aged care, critical care, and emergency nursing. His commitment to continuous growth led him to complete postgraduate studies in Critical Care Nursing, strengthening his expertise in managing complex acute and chronic health conditions.
Throughout his diverse clinical experience, Rod has developed strong proficiency in acute and chronic disease management primarily in acute care settings. His passion for advanced practice guided him toward completing a Master of Nurse Practitioner. Currently, Rod is highly proficient in the assessment and management of minor fractures & dislocations, simple and complex wound care, management of acute and chronic diseases, to name a few. Recently, Rod joined the medical centre coming in as a highly skilled and patient-focused practitioner.
Rod is known for his approachable and empathetic nature, taking pride in delivering safe, evidence-based care while building meaningful connections with his patients. Outside of work, he enjoys playing social tennis and is an enthusiastic fan of sci-fi films, but more importantly, enjoys spending time with his family. He is fluent in both Filipino and English, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients and families.
